Wish you could easily access your files anywhere without the need for a flash drive? Then I have found a program for you called Dropbox. It is a program that you install and it creates a special folder called Dropbox which you tie to a user id and password at their website. This allows you to easily copy any file to their online server for a safe and secure backup. Anything that is in your Dropbox automatically updates to the server so you always have a copy of your most recent files.
Dropbox is very handy as you simply need to install the small program on any computers you need to use it with and put in you login information and then you are ready to go. Now I am sure some of you are thinking 2GB is not enough space for what I want to backup. Then to solve this you can earn up to 3GB for referrals. So for each friend that signs up you receive an addition 250MB of storage. This brings your total free space to 5GB which should be plenty for most people. Dropbox does offer 50GB and 100GB paid solutions.
Overall Dropbox is extremely useful and easy to use and is highly recommended even if you just use the free account. Then if you decided to upgrade later it is only $100 a year for 50GB and $200 a year for 100GB which can also be done in monthly payments of $9.99 and $19.99 respectively. Ever wish there was a better way to make notes for yourself on the computer than stickies or word files? Then SpiralBound is a wonderful little program for you. SpiralBound offers the flexibility of stickies by ripping pages off your note pad and being able to add them back in if you choose.
SpiralBound allows you to pick the color of your text and notepad. You can easily rip a page off your notepad if you need to compare a couple things side by side. SpiralBound allows you to easily password protect you notes to keep prying eyes out.
SpiralBound is a nice program if you are like me and end up with a bunch of stickies on your dashboard for all your random note taking. It also works better than going through the trouble of making an entire database in excel. So this is a great happy medium between a million stickies and a full blown database and it loads way quicker than word would for those of you thinking just us word.

Stuffit expander allows anyone to open any of the 30 compression formats but not do any compressing.
Stuffit Deluxe 2009 makes it easy to backup your important files by compressing them so they will fit on a disk. You may also encrypt any file you compress to and strong security to the files being compressed. If you are still not sure if Stuffit Deluxe 2009 is not right for you then simply go download the demo and give it a test run.
