The Review:
Data Backup 3 is an excellent backup utility. You can create very specific backups or just clone your entire Mac HD to have a bootable backup.
Data Backup 3 is real simple to use and does its job well. If you want the most out of your backup I highly recommend using the clone option and checking the complete scan box just to make sure you have an exact copy of your drive to provide a way to completely recover your system in case of a massive failure.
With the scheduling abilities of Data Backup 3 there is no excuse for you to not be able to run frequent backups to always have an up to date copy of your system on another drive. I recommend backing up at least once a month and right before you make any major changes to several files or programs. Since Data Backup 3 will wake your computer from sleep or even have it turn on to do your backup it makes the process a lot more simple and hassle free.
