The Shure E3c Earphones are without a doubt the best earphones you could use in conjunction with your iPod. The Shure E3c Earphones provide you with a couple different options for fit with the fit kit. You get a couple different plastic sleeves and then you have some foam sleeves.
The foam sleeves I have found provide the best sound isolation and comfort. With these earphones in all I hear is my music resonating in my head and I even had to limit the volume on my iPod to about a third of its full volume to keep the music from being to loud.
With the Shure E3c Earphones I have found that I am listening to my music at lower volumes and having superior sound isolation so I can hear only what I want to which is my music. I am also noticing that each song I listen to after starting to use these earphones sounds so much better and I have even heard small nuances that I had not previously heard with other earphones or on a stereo. I have worn the Shure E3c Earphones for hours straight and have forgotten they were even on because they are so light and comfortable.
The Shure E3c Earphones are a wonderful companion to any iPod and are highly recommended.
